Supporting Those Who Serve: Provive Wellness Introduces the Service & Unity Track for Military, Veterans & First Responders
May is recognized nationwide as National Military Appreciation Month, offering a meaningful opportunity to acknowledge the dedication and bravery of individuals in the U.S. Armed Forces. As Armed Forces Day approaches on May 17, 2025, Provive Wellness Tennessee proudly introduces a new, specialized mental health offering: the Service & Unity Track.
This unique therapeutic pathway was developed to support the emotional and psychological needs of active-duty service members, military veterans, first responders, and their families, addressing the real challenges they face with care, structure, and a sense of community.
Why Tailored Mental Health Services Are Essential
Military personnel and first responders often experience heightened exposure to traumatic events, making them more susceptible to conditions like PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. According to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, nearly 1 in 5 veterans from operations such as OIF and OEF live with PTSD annually. First responders are also at elevated risk for mental health struggles, as noted by SAMHSA, due to the consistent exposure to critical incidents and chronic stress.
Unfortunately, barriers like stigma, limited access, or lack of awareness often delay or prevent individuals from getting the support they need. Provive Wellness Service & Unity Track is here to close that gap with trauma-informed, evidence-based care in a compassionate environment.
