Detox

Detox is the initial step in the recovery process for individuals diagnosed with substance use disorder. This is an essential component of recovery and should be supervised by medical professionals. Different types of drug and alcohol detox programs are available to manage drug and alcohol withdrawal and support the individual throughout the treatment process.

When comparing different drug and alcohol detox programs, it’s important to consider factors such as effectiveness, safety, and support. The severity of the drug addiction, the type of substance used, the duration of substance use, and the presence of any co-occurring mental health disorders all need to be assessed. Provive Wellness’s extensive network of partners will help navigate & determine the best options for those needing detoxification services with our long-term relationships with community partners.

For many patients, Detox is just the first step on the path to well-being. Ongoing support and counseling is necessary for successful long-term recovery. We provide individuals in recovery with emotional guidance to help them remain inspired and responsible.

Residential / Inpatient

Residential rehab is for anyone suffering from addiction or co-occurring mental health disorder that will benefit from temporarily living at a treatment center. This provides the best opportunity to focus on achieving permanent sobriety in a safe and comfortable distraction-free environment that eliminates potential triggers and distractions. Inpatient treatment provides a higher level of care with 24/7 medical supervision and intensive therapy to manage withdrawal symptoms.

Residential treatment varies in treatment methods. Some programs focus on holistic approaches, others on evidence-based therapies, and most use a mix. Choosing an inpatient treatment center is a crucial decision that can significantly impact the recovery process. The length of an inpatient rehab program can vary from a few weeks to a couple months.

Provive Wellness can assist you in choosing a treatment program that suits your needs & provide aftercare services for long term recovery.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

*Coming Soon

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive and highly structured form of outpatient rehab that allows patients to live outside of treatment. PHP’s typically offer outpatient treatment services such as individual and group therapy, access to medical care, and medication if needed.

Participants in a partial hospitalization program attend daily therapeutic services for at least four hours daily and twenty or more hours weekly. Participants in a PHP may work closely with several different treatment professionals including doctors, nurses, social workers, therapists, and psychiatrists to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Appropriate candidates typically have either already been detoxed or do not require a medically monitored detox.

Provive Wellness offers a comprehensive PHP program tailored to our clients’ unique needs.

Medications for Substance Use Disorders

*Coming Soon

Several medications have been approved by the FDA for treating alcohol use disorders (AUD) and opioid use disorders (OUD). These medications address the chemical imbalances in the body that result from psychological cravings and withdrawal symptoms. These drugs don’t simply substitute one drug for another, but provide effective evidence-based treatment.

Medications for Alcohol Use Disorder (MAUD)
Acamprosate, disulfiram, and naltrexone are the most common medications used to treat alcohol use disorder. They do not provide a cure for the disorder but are most effective for people who participate in a treatment program. Learn more about the impact of alcohol misuse and AUD.

Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD)
Some of the medications commonly used to treat Opioid Use Disorder include methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone. OUD can severely impact an individual’s brain chemistry. These medications work to block the euphoric effects that come with opioid use. This helps to normalize brain chemistry and bodily function while reducing physiological cravings.

Both short-acting opioids like morphine, codeine and heroin and semi-synthetic opioids including hydrocodone and oxycodone can all benefit from treatment with these medications. Long-term use of these medications is safe, whether for months or years or even over the course of one’s entire life.
