Honoring National Addiction Professionals Day
September is a time to come together and celebrate National Recovery Month, a period dedicated to raising awareness about recovery from substance use disorders and mental health challenges. This year, we are also proud to highlight National Addiction Professionals Day on Friday, September 20th, 2024, a day set aside to honor the incredible work of addiction professionals across the country. These dedicated individuals are at the forefront of transforming lives, helping people navigate their recovery journeys with compassion, expertise, and unwavering commitment.
Started by NAADAC in 1992, National Addiction Professionals Day recognizes the critical role that addiction professionals play within the continuum of care. They are often the first line of support for those in need, and their impact is immeasurable. This is why we pause to celebrate their work and the difference they make every day.
